A few months ago my boyfriend, our daughter and I were visiting Atomik Pop on S Western and due to contruction actually drove a little further down western then the actual comic book store and then turned around to come back to it. At some point during it both of them say they saw a store sign that said steampunk or something about steampunk. Kate is a HUGE fan and wanted to turned around right then but again traffic was terrible so i promised next time. Well today was next time since it is free comic book day. I swear we drove up and down western at like 3 times and couldnt find it. My boyfriend is at work today so he wasnt there and couldnt quite remeber how far down it was and Kate was useless other then swearing it was there.
Does anyone know what they saw and if its still there? And what it was exactly! LoL
Thanks in advance for any help:)

I don't know. But what's so great about Steampunk? It simply provides an excuse to go somewhere to party and dress up funky for the period of steam power, since you wouldn't want to be seen in such clothes elsewhere?

That right, Firefly831, if you like things different than a majority of other people, why do you want to continue participation? We should all strive to be the same is the same interests...
all sarcasm aside... I drive western quite often and don't recall ever seeing a sign that said Steampunk... but then again, i was driving and probably paying much more attention to the road than the stores. But if you do end up finding it... please post back with where it is and what all it has.

You might check out this site: Steampunk Oklahoma - The Steampunk Empire (http://www.thesteampunkempire.com/group/steampunkoklahoma)
I'm not really into steampunk, at least not yet, but I got curious and did a google search. Looks kinda interesting for anyone who likes alternate-history sf/fantasy...
