Anonymous. 05-07-2013, 10:02 AM I doubt it, it is going to be a boring series, Spurs sweep again How's that boring series going? Game 1 was the best game of the playoffs, so far. skanaly 05-07-2013, 11:58 AM I am going to predict the Warriors win this series. I'm leaning toward that, just because Curry is clutch and everyone has been contributing beautifully. But I do think the Spurs will win. I believe this is there peak, as old as they are, I think it goes down just like the Celtics in '08. But If the Spurs win, it'll be in 7, MAYBE 6. They won't sweep them, not going to happen skanaly 05-07-2013, 12:00 PM I doubt it, it is going to be a boring series, Spurs sweep again Have you ever watched the Warriors play? Steph is unreal. The Warriors were by far the most improved team this year MonkeesFan 05-07-2013, 02:50 PM How's that boring series going? Game 1 was the best game of the playoffs, so far. I disagree, the Game 4 Bulls-Nets triple overtime game was the best game of the playoffs so far And I was wrong, I was surprised just like I said that the Grizzles-Thunder was going to be a boring series and I was wrong on that also MonkeesFan 05-07-2013, 02:52 PM Have you ever watched the Warriors play? Steph is unreal. The Warriors were by far the most improved team this year Yeah I have but I have not watched the Warriors play much because their yellow uniforms hurt my eyes MonkeesFan 05-07-2013, 02:54 PM It's only one game, but how many were predicting Miami would lose their first game at home against the Bulls? I picked the Bulls and probably the only one, I am not very surprised, the Bulls have heart and guts! With the injuries that the Bulls have, the Bulls is a impressive team skanaly 05-08-2013, 11:45 AM I picked the Bulls and probably the only one, I am not very surprised, the Bulls have heart and guts! With the injuries that the Bulls have, the Bulls is a impressive team Well your for sure not the only one, but your right on about them being an impressive team. MonkeesFan 05-08-2013, 03:06 PM Well your for sure not the only one, but your right on about them being an impressive team. Oh yeah, forgot about the Bull fans, haha ljbab728 05-08-2013, 11:09 PM Spurs lose at home tonight to Golden State. Now, in spite of all of the hand wringing and heart palpitations by Thunder fans, we are in no better or worse situation than Miami or San Antonio. Easy180 05-09-2013, 05:10 AM Not sure that the NBA would be ecstatic over a Memphis-Golden State Western Finals matchup...Ratings wise Anonymous. 05-09-2013, 09:27 AM Pretty cool that every series is now 1-1. This is the most interesting playoffs I can remember in a long time. Warriors peaking with Curry - Heat dropping game 1 - Thunder playing without Russell. I am sure it would be more enjoyable without the last one, having Russell right now would make our group pretty terrifying. Excited for Saturday! Just the facts 05-09-2013, 09:31 AM Spurs lose at home tonight to Golden State. Now, in spite of all of the hand wringing and heart palpitations by Thunder fans, we are in no better or worse situation than Miami or San Antonio. San Antonio is lucky they don't swept. Warriors take series 4-1. Anonymous. 05-09-2013, 09:57 AM I am too lazy to find the posts, but back in December I remember several posters on here giving me the business for saying the Warriors would be for real come playoff time. Yawn MonkeesFan 05-09-2013, 02:29 PM San Antonio is lucky they don't swept. Warriors take series 4-1. HAHAHAHA! Yeah, not happening BradR 05-09-2013, 03:33 PM I think since they did the full surgery on Westbrook that he'll be out for a few months so him coming back is more than likely out of the question. BoulderSooner 05-09-2013, 04:42 PM Is it even possible that Russell could be brought back to play? If I was ownership, I wouldn't have wanted to give the team a second to think that they were just waiting for Westbrook to come back and save them. So I would have announced that he was out for the rest of the playoffs. But if he has healed and is strong enough to play, it might be a good year to push the team and see if we can eek out a championship. Probably too soon yet though to make that call. Would want to see how the Heat ultimately do. He had the repair done. He is out 8 weeks best case. SoonerBoy18 05-09-2013, 07:46 PM HAHAHAHA! Yeah, not happening Golden State is going to win 4-2 and its going to be Warriors vs Thunder! =) MonkeesFan 05-10-2013, 02:01 AM Golden State is going to win 4-2 and its going to be Warriors vs Thunder! =) Nope, Spurs will win 4-2 and it will be Grizzles vs Spurs Anonymous. 05-23-2013, 09:48 AM Pacers blew a great opportunity last night in Miami. Had the game won and let Lebron get a free lay-in with 2 seconds to go in overtime. They are going to be kicking themselves for that one for the rest of this series, I'm afraid. td25er 05-23-2013, 10:04 AM I think West and Hibbert can give them problems. Should be a good series. Miami FINALLY has a real opponent. skanaly 05-23-2013, 02:14 PM If the Pacers can get game two, Miami will still win but probably in 6 or 7. Miami is also going to have to win at least one game in Indiana, even though the pacers are undefeated at home in the playoffs this year dankrutka 05-23-2013, 02:17 PM The Pacers would still only be the 5-7th best team in the West. It's pretty crappy how Miami gets to waltz into the Finals without having to play the type of competition in the West. It's been like this since the Bulls dynasty ended though. ljbab728 05-24-2013, 11:14 PM The Pacers would still only be the 5-7th best team in the West. It's pretty crappy how Miami gets to waltz into the Finals without having to play the type of competition in the West. It's been like this since the Bulls dynasty ended though. Miami might disagree with that statement after the first two games. LOL The pacers don't like they're going to go quietly. HOT ROD 05-25-2013, 02:19 AM Pacers rightfully WON game 2. I say indy in 7 as they really should have won game 1 in all truthfulness. now what does Miami/Labron homer Kenny the jet smith have to say now? Anonymous. 05-25-2013, 02:12 PM If the Pacers pull this off, it will make losing Russell this post season even more cringe-worthy. Honestly the Pacers should be going back to home with 2-0. Heat got luck with a terrible matchup in game1. Pacers control this series no doubt. Anonymous. 05-28-2013, 08:45 AM Spurs pull off the sweep. Grizzlies looked pretty bad against a faster veteran PG, Parker. Makes you really cringe when you think of what damage Russell would have done to the Grizz. Anonymous. 05-31-2013, 08:58 AM Heat knocks down Pacers last night. 3-2 Heat. Just imagine if Pacers had not blown game 1. They would be going home tomorrow night to close it out. now they have to fight elimination. Meanwhile the Spurs are resting their joints. This is playing out well for the Spurs. ljbab728 06-01-2013, 10:08 PM And Indiana defeats Miami again tonight to send it to a 7th game. I expect Miami to prevail but at least the Pacers are making them sweat while San Antonio is resting up. Pete 06-01-2013, 10:15 PM Anybody but the Heat!! Hawk405359 06-02-2013, 07:03 PM This Miami team is just not the same, they're looking closer to the "everything has to go to Lebron" Cavs than they are the team of last year. venture 06-02-2013, 07:19 PM This Miami team is just not the same, they're looking closer to the "everything has to go to Lebron" Cavs than they are the team of last year. I'm really thinking Indiana knocks them off. They have the fight and hunger. Though I have to wonder how Indiana will do over the Spurs. Then again I start to think the Spurs are the favorites at this point with all the rest they are getting. dankrutka 06-02-2013, 10:52 PM I don't see Miami losing game 7. Expect big bounce back games from Wade and Bosh. Easy180 06-03-2013, 05:29 AM I don't see Miami losing game 7. Expect big bounce back games from Wade and Bosh. Thinking this ^ with an easy win for the Heat...Unfortunately venture 06-03-2013, 10:49 PM Poo for rooting for the underdog...regardless of how unlikely it was. LOL OKCisOK4me 06-03-2013, 11:27 PM Go Spurs! Mel 06-04-2013, 02:18 AM The spurs must beat the heatles. skanaly 06-04-2013, 09:56 AM Are you guys Spurs fans? Or just like everyone else and want the heat to lose? haha Anonymous. 06-04-2013, 11:10 AM It makes sense for OKC to root against the Heat. The bad taste after 2012 is still here. We just got unlucky and lost that opportunity for revenge this season. 2014 is going to be sweet! ljbab728 06-06-2013, 10:37 PM First game to the Spurs. So far, so good. Hawk405359 06-06-2013, 10:46 PM If all the games in this series are that good, then I don't care who wins. Celebrator 06-06-2013, 11:23 PM I actually want the Heat to win...get it out of their system and get bored with winning championships...then we can pounce for our shot at it. I also want the Spurs to fade out anyway...just go away Spurs! So there's my quirky Finals rooting logic. Teo9969 06-06-2013, 11:35 PM I actually want the Heat to win...get it out of their system and get bored with winning championships...then we can pounce for our shot at it. That is the best possible outcome for OKC in these playoffs. Anonymous. 06-07-2013, 08:15 AM Crazy game. This time the Heat don't have the luxury of 3 in a row at home. That belongs to the Spurs. Heat have to win Game 2 or this is sweepmode. Bellaboo 06-07-2013, 09:40 AM The Heat are not playing like the Heat of last year..... Could have been the Thunders year. Patrick Beverly = Public Enemy No. 1 - Just the facts 06-07-2013, 12:37 PM Are you guys Spurs fans? Or just like everyone else and want the heat to lose? haha I just want the title to stay in the West. OKCisOK4me 06-08-2013, 01:13 AM I just want the title to stay in the West. Technically the title is in the east right now, but I do agree. Spurs need to bring it back and then next year we need to try and take it away from the state of Texas, lol. Anonymous. 06-10-2013, 08:56 AM Heat blew out the Spurs in the second half last night. That was crazy how they just turned it up and poured on about 20 points. Now MIA has to go to San Antonio where the Spurs have a chance to close it out at home - like the Heat did to OKC last year. Hawk405359 06-10-2013, 09:21 AM The Heat don't tend to lose two in a row often, so I'm not surprised they won yesterday. They looked a lot better than game 1. skanaly 06-10-2013, 10:42 AM I actually want the Heat to win...get it out of their system and get bored with winning championships...then we can pounce for our shot at it. I also want the Spurs to fade out anyway...just go away Spurs! So there's my quirky Finals rooting logic. I dont think anyone will ever get trired of winning a chamionship...look at the Celtic's early seasons...Bird, Russell, all of em never got tired of winning. But the heat cant win forever. I just want the Spurs to win because Tim, Manu and Tony will all slow down after that. Pop may leave anyway Sonny_Crockett 06-10-2013, 02:30 PM America is pulling for the Spurs. But I still think the d-bags in Miami are going to win, win next year, and the year after unless LeBron tears his ACL. dankrutka 06-10-2013, 08:01 PM America is pulling for the Spurs. But I still think the d-bags in Miami are going to win, win next year, and the year after unless LeBron tears his ACL. Decent change the big 3 get broken up after next season because of the salary cap unless they win this year & next. Teams not named Dallas find a way to stay together after a title. ljbab728 06-11-2013, 10:21 PM The Spurs are blowing out the Heat tonight. I heard a number of commentators say that after Miami's dominant win in the second game, they were showing how the series would be going and many though the Heat would win tonight also. Now Miami has to win 3 of the next 4 games against the Spurs and that's won't be an easy proposition no matter where the games are played. dankrutka 06-11-2013, 10:51 PM The Spurs are blowing out the Heat tonight. Now Miami has to win 3 of the next 4 games against the Spurs and that's won't be an easy proposition no matter where the games are played. I didn't hear many knowledgeable commentators saying that. Those that know the NBA knew it was unlikely the Spurs would go down lightly. I'd be surprised if the Heat went down lightly either though. It's shaping up to be a pretty good series. Mel 06-12-2013, 12:28 AM I hope Parker's hamstring isn't too bad. dankrutka 06-12-2013, 02:26 AM I hope Parker's hamstring isn't too bad. Yep. They're not winning this series without him. It would be somewhat comparable to us losing Westbrook. Without Parker's penetration into the lane those shooters won't be nearly as open. Hopefully he's okay. It's been a fun series so far. Anonymous. 06-12-2013, 09:31 AM Finals format puts so much pressure on the team with HCA. Heat are getting a taste of what happened to us last season. OKCisOK4me 06-12-2013, 04:33 PM Yep. Yeah, I laugh at The Heat, cause last night San Antonio's message was kinda like, "you trounce us at your place...guess what? we can do the same to you here...BOOO YAAAAAH!". Lebron and Dwayne looked so miserable last night on the bench and I was loving it! ljbab728 06-13-2013, 11:15 PM You have to hand it to the Heat. They came back with a solid win tonight in San Antonio and have home court advantage back. This series has taken wild swings and I could still see anything happen. A win in the next game is a must for the Spurs, though. |
