For the gardeners out there....
Definitely noticed this weekend how bare the trees are compared to a year ago. I am assuming this is largely due to the series of freezes we've had lately. Upon closer inspection, some of the trees look like their buds are largely okay. Others, like the American Elm in my grandmothers yard look bad, as they had largely bloomed already.
So can the trees recover and eventually start blooming again? Or is this as good as its going to get in regards to spring foliage? Its very depressing to see so much brown this late into April.
