While I am sure everyone would prefer a Starbuck's, etc. this use should compliment the new hotel and hopefully will spur additional development. It would pick up a lot of traffic from Stillwater and I think Edmond could kind of become what the south end of Moore has with Norman. Hopefully if they build something, it will be an upscale indoor mall or lifestyle center and not a tacky strip mall. RUMOR among the city offices at one point was Buc-ee's was interested in this area but the land owner wanted an astronomical amount for the property and the Buc-ee's folks were like you're nuts SEMIweather 04-03-2023, 08:09 PM Still think the most realistic spot for a Buc-ee's will be in the Riverwind area once that interchange is finally updated. |
