3406Just couldn't resist posting this. A treasure found among many old pictures in my mother's attic. This is me circa 1975. I had gotten this sweet 1968 Mustang for my 16th birthday! Would give anything to still have it!

Awesome! I'm about a year older than you and had a 1970 Mustang when I was 16. I'll post photos later.

Where did you grow up / go to high school? I went to PC.

This was my pride and joy. My Ford Torino in July of 1970 when I was 23.

I wish. I remember it had houndstooth seats. It was a classic.
My uncle, who worked for Ford Motor Company, helped me get it. It had been a pace car at some car race. I don't remember which one.

Old age has a way of affecting our memory, but that is a Mercury Montego.

On reflection, you may be right. The photo had Ford Torino written on it and it was 43 years ago after all. LOL
The Torino and Montego had the same chassis with just a few styling differences.

I wish I still had it anyway.

Mercury Montego Brougham MX .... You had a good looking car, and it would be a rare and prized possession today.
