A woman in California was fired by Harrah's for refusing to wear makeup for 21 years. The case is being heard in a court of appeals in San Francisco.
I think either this is really a stupid reason to fire a woman or she must have been one ugly woman.
What do you think?

Definitely stupid. I mean if she was really that ugly then make-up wouldn't have made that big of a difference. Maybe cosmetic surgery but I can't see makeup changing her overall appearance too drastically. I would have been fired along time ago if that were the case here.
I think it's a crazy reason to fire someone. However, I can understand Harrah's point of view. The requirement could have been listed in thier employee handbook. Just like my employer requires all male employees to have a clean shave or neatly groomed facial hair everyday.
