More photos that my parents took in the 1960s. This packet of negatives was labeled 1966 and the pictures were taken at the OKC Zoo. The woman in the blue jacket is my mom, and I don't know who the recurring boy is. He is not a sibling, but must be a family friend or relative.

Bring backs lots of memories. Especially the lionhead water fountain and the train.

I wish the old train route with the bridge over the lake was still there. It was there through the early 1980s cause I remember it....and I think those same bird cages are still there.

That was always my favorite part of the zoo. And the prairie dog exhibit with the big mound of dirt and all the prairie dogs poking out. No idea if that's still there.

The current prairie dog exhibit offers a better view of the critters, or a greater frequency anyway.
