I looked throughout the entire OKC Golf and Country Club website and could not find any of the entry fees, dues or food minimums. Does anyone know these numbers? I am specifically interested in the social certificate. The only related number that I could find was that it cost between 3-4k to transfer the membership.

I believe you still have to have a sponsor, even for the social certificate. That can be anyone who has a full membership, again if things haven't changed. If you have a sponsor, then you have a casual interview and if you don't have three eyes and a personality disorder, you're approved. Then you get a list of the social certificates for sale and you negotiate a sale with the member selling. Prices can vary, depending on how quickly they're currently selling, how many are listed for sale and how quickly the person selling wants to cash out. Things might have changed recently, but I suspect the procedure is the same. I can't remember if there's a fee assessed by the club outside of the certificate purchase.

Once you've bought the social certificate, you're liable for quarterly food charges, but I don't believe there's much else in the way of expenses.

You could always call the country club.

After negotiating for the purchase of the social certificate from another member or the club, you'll need to complete and return an application, informational form, letters from a proposer and two seconders (all must be stockholding members), a photograph and your checks for the membership and transfer fee. If you're not already known, then an interview will be necessary. Regarding the personality disorder, I'll second Betts - a long-time member with what can charitably be described as a personality disorder was recently tossed out.

There's a monthly membership fee and minimum food purchase requirement.
