Was that the Coffee Creek/Kelly location? If so, good.I think it was the one along Covell/Coltrane area. That Coffee Creek/Kelly died awhile back.

I scoff at a Wal-Mart there too. These are locations of Edmond that no one wants commercial corner developments going in, especially Wal-Marts.

Agreed. As far as I know, I probably would think a neighborhood market would be suitable in the Jones area in the coming years, but other than that, I really don't think OKC needs a single added Walmart and I would actually like to see some of them torn down.

Or remodeled into a new use quite like the one at 33rd & Broadway!

I agree, but unfortunately I have never heard of a Wal-Mart actually closing, only moving to a bigger location. At one time nobody thought K-Mart would be dethroned so maybe Wal-Mart will fall on hard times one day and downsize.

This thread kind of reminds me of this.
