Tony's Island Grill in Mustang has gone out of Business. (1 year after Harrys went out of business)

I don't know if it's connected but I understand one of the owners has a very serious illness.

Very sad to experience the restaurant closed on Saturday night — we enjoyed the food the service and the atmosphere; it was one of our favorite restaurants in Mustang, Oklahoma. They made a great Reuben, they served us up great chicken tenders with tasty gravy, they made great cocktails at their bar — Island Charlotte always loved their Martinis and I enjoyed their Grateful Dead cocktail. We always tipped 25% or more... because they deserved it. What a sad situation; we hope it is not permanent.

In a community where good local restaurants are a rarity, we sure hope that TIG will be back — if so, we'll be in the front of the line. We want to hear them say: "Our doors are open — welcome back."
