I came across a wonderful photo set on google+ from a gentleman named Bill Messick.

He's posted a heckuva lot of photos in different "albums" on his google+ page, but the one of interest is an album called "Bricktown At Night OKC." The subject matter isn't anything that we all haven't seen before, but many of the pictures are so gorgeous, that I couldn't resist sharing them here.

Number 13 is my favorite -- that one is just stunning.

Yeah, it does have a frantic, racing feel to it. But consider their situation: one minute they're bolting down the prairie, crossing a pristine landscape in the search for a new home and a new life, and the next -- they're caught in the middle of a concrete jungle, filled with brick and steel and neon lights. Pudgy, inebriated tourists gawking at them from strange watercraft meandering by, Katy Perry blasting from a speaker... it's no wonder that they're afeared for their lives!
