Noticed the old Ultimate Electronics store on I-240 is being painted and spruced up. Is another business taking over that building?

It is inside the I-240/I-44/I-35 loop. Urban core =/= urban development. Unfortunately.

Noticed the other day that they are renovating the old Ultimate Electronics building on the south side. Any ideas on what's going to happen there? According to the assessor's website, the building hasn't been sold.

Just wondering, that's all

Something called the "CHEF'STORE" which I think is a wholesale restaurant food/supplies business.

I passed by, is it like the store in Penn Square Mall which they have cook books and stuff like that? If so, I will check it out since I want to try to new things to cook at home more

Us too; however, fairly sure I read (somewhere?) that it will be a wholesale-only merchant. Now, I could be wrong, because sometimes some retailers play fast and loose with that term, but at least as I had interpreted it in this case, it meant no retail sales. Perhaps someone else with hard info can confirm?
