Both teams have lost while Texas is still undefeated. I am about 80% convinced Texas will beat OU this year. It feels as if the only thing left Oklahomans have left to be excited about is Thunder basketball next month. Is it time to start panicking? this early in the season?

I've just faced the facts that OU and OSU just aren't really that good this year. No one in the Big 12 is really a world beater. You could say West Virginia was the obvious front-runner, but you can't give up 63 points to Baylor and expect to win a National Championship.

But yeah, I'm really just looking forward to the start of the NBA season.

There's a whole season of great football ahead! OU plays Notre Dame this year, lots of good stuff down the road. Too many from Oklahoma can't just enjoy a season of football after their teams are out of national championship chances. Lose once or twice and its time to forget it? Spoiled is the word that comes to mind.

I'm one that just doesn't get near as excited about college football since the Thunder came to town.

Ditto, college is amature athletics, and it shows. After watching the Thunder, I can't hardly stand to watch college BB. It looks like a bunch of sloppy high schoolers out there running around.

I agree 100%. With the changes to the CFB landscape and the introduction of Thunder basketball I have almost 0 interest in CFB. The OSU/Texas game was only the third game I have watched this year and in years passed I would watch upwards of 5 games in a single day (sometimes using two tvs).

Pickens needs to add many thousands of new seats to his stadium, so OSU can play high caliber non-conference teams like Notre Dame. I bet most of those teams don't want to play in a mere 60,000 seat stadium as it is now.

Pickens has complained about OSU not playing good non-conference foes.

The shot clock is WAY too long in college. I'm all for ball movement like the Spurs perfected last year, but in college its 30 seconds of worthless passing and then they throw up a brick.
