I read an article in the Oklahoman, yesterday, that dealt with the upcoming openings of two distilleries in Oklahoma. One in Guthrie--involving the demoltion of A Sacred Shrine to The Petroleum Industry--and one in Moore(?). It said that they would be the only two in the state. When did that place downtown, apparently near the old Fred Jones plant, cease operations? I was told that they made pretty good "premium" vodka but I can't even remember the name of the place. Nor did I ever have a chance to sample it. Or was all this just my imagination?

As far as I can recall old Russia bottled vodka but was not a distillery.

Old Russia was a distillery but I think they closed up after a few years. They were the first legal distillery in Oklahoma.
