I rarely start threads on here, but I searched and didn't find one about the Shamrock Station at NW 50th and Portland. Please forgive me if I somehow missed it.

Anyway, I mentioned this place a few weeks ago in another thread about tamales. They have a really great Chicken with Green Chili Tamale for $1.50. We just published a full review on the place so I wanted to share our thoughts and I'm interested to know if anyone has tried it and what you thought. Quite an interesting place with a few really tasty things to offer. Here's the link to our review:

We were all sitting around the office the other day wondering when we could all get together and hit the Shamrock station on Portland. Would we need reservations?

I'm with you on those chicken tamales! Very tasty and filling. I stop in to get some whenever I'm in the area.

I was being a snot, I know how some of the best food can be found at the strangest places. I'll have to try it sometime.

wow... I go past it all the time but never knew they had food there. I'll have to stop in today for lunch and try the tamales out. The Pastrami Burger looks good too but not for $7.

Stopped by for lunch and got a chicken burrito that was good sized and pretty good. I'll try the tamales next time.

My husband stops there and gets the breakfast burrito all the time. We have gotten sandwiches there for lunch occasionally, and have always liked what they made.
