I stopped going to this one on the way to school. That intersection is such a terrible cluster in the morning when it's busy. The one on May at the old bank site is great, though. Midtowner 12-17-2024, 11:10 AM This location is right by my office. I had to stop going to OnCue on account of their prices for premium gas being so much higher than Casey's. This is already such a strange intersection. It's too bad the city didn't take the opportunity to do something else with that intersection like a roundabout. bison34 12-17-2024, 11:27 AM This location is right by my office. Midtowner 12-17-2024, 12:39 PM They use better gasoline than Casey's does. I've read it's all the same stuff from the same place. The only thing that changes from place to place is that some companies have additives. Pretty sure the truck that makes deliveries to Casey's will also make deliveries to OnCue from the same tank. But correct me if I'm wrong. MagzOK 12-17-2024, 12:53 PM They use better gasoline than Casey's does. Absolutely they do! OnCue uses Phillips 66 which is Top Tier. Also, if you use the Fuel Forward app you get $0.05 cents off per gallon. I've got it set up to my Apple Pay and it's so easy. Casey's is not top tier. I swipe my OnCue rewards card first to earn points then use my Sams Mastercard and get 5% cash back. 5% is going to be more then 5 cents. At 2.50/gal that is 12.5 cents. Then it seems all the 66 stations disappeared so I canceled it. I like the Sams CC for gas as it is 5% at any gas station and 3% on dining and Sams Club purchases. We use it exclusively for those three things. cinnamonjock 12-17-2024, 04:58 PM You also get the discount if you connect it to your checking account Will Dearborn 12-17-2024, 05:00 PM This location is right by my office. Other than specialty stations (like RS Fuels), OnCue has the highest quality fuel in the Metro. If you've got something that actually requires 91 octane, OnCue is worth the premium in price. (This isn't a shot at you at all but I always scratch my head at people that own something that requires higher octane fuel but worry about the cost.) You connect the Fuel Forward app to your Sam's MC. FF app is not a credit card or payment method.....it has to be connected to a credit card or bank account. I would think you get both as it is two different groups giving discount unless there is something in the terms that doesn't recognize FF as a gas charge. . Mine is connected to my AMEX and I get my credit card perks plus the discount. FF doesn't show on my AMX statement....it says On Cue. There's a difference between worrying about the cost and allowing yourself to be taken advantage of. At any rate, I've since ditched gas powered cars except for when I have to drive out for an appearance in Guymon. Jeepnokc 12-30-2024, 10:34 AM For those that have the Fuel Forward app for On Cue...... 25 cents off a gallon on New Year's Day! Also works at any 66, conoco and 76 stores. Zuplar 12-30-2024, 11:00 AM I got a question about the points you get in the app, how do you spend them? Is there a way from the app to spend in store? It doesn't generate any kind of code that can be scanned. I have thousands of points, but have never been able to figure out what to do with them. It doesn't generate any kind of code that can be scanned. I have thousands of points, but have never been able to figure out what to do with them. When I'm in the store and I use the self checkouts, I scan my app barcode first then when I scan my items it asks if I want to redeem points for the purchase. gjl 12-30-2024, 11:08 AM If it the OnCue app I had their rewards card for quite a while before I put the app on my phone. When I would make a in store purchase I would just swipe my card and it asks if you want to pay with your points. With the phone app the points show up in the app and there is a bar code that will be in the rewards tab the clerk will scan to use your points. If you are asking about the Fuel Forward I don't know because I don't have that. I'm guessing that is different than the OnCue app I use. I wonder if you can use them both at the same time. jn1780 12-30-2024, 11:26 AM The app has a barcode option, and I think if you ask a clerk you can get a physical card? Zuplar 12-30-2024, 12:59 PM I do not have any kind of barcode and don’t see anything that shows to even generate one. I do have the option to pay in store. I’ve never done that usually if I do get something I just pay with my card. But I do use app for every fuel purchase and I’ve never seen it give me the option to use points but maybe that’s not available for fuel purchases. gjl 12-30-2024, 01:12 PM You need to specify which app you are talking about. There is more than one you can use there. Zuplar 12-30-2024, 01:32 PM Oh I had no idea there was more than one, I've just used the one they advertised on their pumps, can't remember what it used to be called but is now Fuel Forward. The points I'm talking about specifically are the Kickback points in that app. When I select to pay in store I'm given 2 options, Apple Pay and Paypal. If I click the plus sign to add new payment options to my wallet I my options are to add a Phillips66 card, checking (direct pay), gift card, click to pay, credit or debit card, or venmo. I don't see any options to add the Kickback points and when I click on the Kickback points in the Fuel Forward app it just shows me a point balance, the last 4 of the card number (no idea how to get the rest of the numbers) and then I can click to see game status or club status. But there is nothing anywhere to scan. I signed up for the kickback points in app when i set it up, so I don't have any sort of physical card either to scan. Maybe these points are mostly useless anyways, but I have several thousand, so if they were worth something I wouldn't mind figuring out how to use them. Zuplar 12-30-2024, 01:33 PM When I'm in the store and I use the self checkouts, I scan my app barcode first then when I scan my items it asks if I want to redeem points for the purchase. Is this the Fuel Forward app with Kickback Points? I'm not finding any barcode options and someone else mentioned there was more than one app. Jeepnokc 12-30-2024, 02:19 PM Is this the Fuel Forward app with Kickback Points? You can add your on cue rewards card to it so you get on cue points also. You connect the Fuel Forward app to your credit card or bank account. Connected to bank account gives you an additional discount but I like the points on my credit card. Shows up on my statement as OnCue and not fuel forward. Gives you 5 cents off a gallon normally but sometimes more. So I didn't know my Kickback Points account number because in the Fuel Forward app in only ever shows the last 4 of the number. But it allowed me to use my phone number and so I got the kickback points from the Fuel Forward app synced to the Oncue app, and the Oncue app looks like where you can generate a barcode and spend kickback points. I've been using the Fuel Forward app (or whatever it was before) for years and always just thought the points were useless. But today it looks like I have several hundred dollars worth of free snacks at Oncue. Thank you everyone for your help! bamarsha 01-08-2025, 10:43 AM Starting to look like OnCue just about has everyone kicked out of the area at 122nd and MacArthur... some relocating (Subway ~3/4 mile north, Westlake Tag Agency ~1 mile west), some closing (First Fidelity Bank, What-A-Donut) from what I hear. Drove by yesterday and they had a small crew looking at the site. Looks like everyone is completely out at this point. The city had 122nd blocked off west of North MacArthur. Looks like a water main problem. Dob Hooligan 01-25-2025, 05:38 PM I wish they would do some maintenance on the pumps at the NW 10th & Portland location. Seems like every time I fill up, which is about once a week, the pump can't print out a receipt, and I have to go inside and request one. Also the pumps higher than number 10 regularly have some issue where they can't process a credit card at the pump. It doesn't happen on pumps lower than number 10. At least that is what employees behind the counter have told me more than once. scottk 01-26-2025, 01:41 PM I wish they would do some maintenance on the pumps at the NW 10th & Portland location. Took the advice of a post on here and downloaded the FuelForward App that sync's with OnCue/Phillips66. I found this method much more reliable, secure, gives me a digital receipt that looks just like the print out at the pump, keeps track of all my fuel purchases and the icing on the cake...5 cents off per gallon for using Apple Pay. You can also get larger percentages off if you have a Phillips 66 card or link it directly to your bank account for auto draft. gjl 01-26-2025, 02:26 PM A lot of their pumps at a lot of their locations need some maintenance. It's going to start hurting their reputation at some point. The 01-27-2025, 12:59 PM The tap to pay/Apple Pay is horrendous! Why the hell can they not get that figured out and functioning all of the time? |
