There are 2 new buildings that look like they could be restaurants. I haven't seen a sign near either yet.

SW 104 and May
SW 3, east of Buffalo Wild Wings

The one on May looks like it may be a Chipolte, but I might just be really wanting a Chipolte on South Side. Does anyone know what they are going to be?

sw 104th & may is a mcdonald's. just to the north of that (i think they've only cleared ground) is going to be a firestone. -M

The McDonald's is the north-most building of the two. Both are well along the way in construction, and have had signs up for some time, so it kinda surprised me that by now they weren't pretty much well known by now....the McDonald's has an LED marquee up advertising the new site with a "COMING SOON" and some related animation. The McD's is probably 70% or more complete - only some exterior stone work remains - and I'm sure they're moving along as fast as they can on the interior. The "basement" or trench or (insert better official word here) for the Firestone service bays has been in place for some time, and they're raising cinderblock and brick walls.

I'm still holding out hope that something goes on the immediate SW corner of 104th and May. There are two large outparcels in front of that big Crest, and the McD/Firestone are going in just south of the intersection. There seems to me to be more than enough room for a nice sit-down family type restaurant on that corner, such as a Cheddars or a Chilis...at one point there had been speculation on the latter, but I guess that was a red herring. How about a campaign for a Hideaway Pizza there!! :)

huh... i can practically picture it in my head. crest has two entrances onto may ave. both mcdonald's and firestone are between the two entrances. i could've sworn that mcdonald's bordered the southernmost entrance while firestone bordered the northern one. i must be going crazy. -M

Don't fight it, dude :) LOL. You might want to visit that Crest again, lest in a few weeks you go in for an oil change and have a burger while you wait, but then find your engine compartment stuffed with fries and try to eat a quart of 10W30... :)

Then I think you'd better heed the same warning I gave mmm :)

I live less than 500 yards from Crest's front door, and drive by it every day. MickeyD's is immediately north of Firestone...although you likely could get about the same level of grease from either (rim-shot bad-joke).
