Is anyone else not receiving their notices? I haven't received a
notice for quite a while.

I'm not receiving any of my notices - and I know the topics I've subscribed to have been getting replies.
What's up with that?

I don't know. Maybe it's the server, at least that was a suggestion
that was provided.

I seem to have been getting mine okay...

There must be a conspiracy.

Then they are conspiring against me as well.

I posted to two topics yesterday and there have been several replies without notification. it does show that I am subscribed to the threads . . . .

Still nothing for me, either - even tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing to a couple of threads to test.

I'm getting some, not many. But that's not a bad thang.

Nothing so far. I should have received a notification that this thread had a reply.

I looked at my settings and I am set up to receive email notifications instantly for topic replies and for PMs.

One thing I did notice: When I looked at my subscribed threads, the checkbox beside each thread that is supposed to toggle notifications on and off was unchecked - all of them. That might explain why I am not getting notifications of thread replies, but does not explain why I am not being notified of PMs.

It also is a mystery how the checkboxes became unchecked.

I'll dig some more.

I returned to the "View All Subscribed Threads" page and the checkboxes were unchecked again. The problem is obviously beyond my control (panel).

Anything new on this, Pete? Still no notifications and my checkboxes remain checked.

How do you even apply the feature?

For all of you have this issue, follow these instructions then send me a PM if this doesn't work:


Go to: http://www.okctalk.com/subscription.php
The far right column of your subscribed threads is labeled "Notifications"
Make sure the box in that column that corresponds with the thread where you want notifications is set to "Instantly, using email"
If not, make that change

Also, double-check that the emails are not ending up in your junk folder.
