Im looking for ols pics of 14 flags drive inn on the southside..about 81st and s western..go generals claass of 79

Curious, where does the 14 flags name come from...I read back during our centennial that we had 14 flags over Oklahoma...

i think 14 flags drive-in was closer to 104th & western...

That is correct. It was between 89th and 104th. The entrance was right north of the pool place that is there now.

Good luck. I had searched for years to find a pic of the original marquee sign. Even asked George Grebe and local sign manufacturers. No luck. The was one isolated photo of the lot on the second night that was in the paper and that was it. I do have a picture of the aftermath of when a
Pepsi truck took of the cover over the box office and that is it.

I do have a Polaroid of the last marquee that I took but it is not great.

By the way, the address was 99th and south western. That was the address we put on the answering machine
