Former employees of Puddin Lane store at 23rd and Douglas in Midwest City are asked to attend a reunion being arranged for August 17th in the Spencer/Nicoma Park area. The store opened originally as Tru Discount Foods in about 1970, then was Puddin Lane IGA until about 1982 when it became Kens IGA. The store closed completely in the late 80's. Anyone who worked there during any of those times is invited, as well as any of those regular customers that might hear about it and want to attend. There were alot of memories made there! We have at least three couples that started a relationship while they worked at the store during high school, and later married. It will be great to see everyone that can make it, as it's been 30+ years since we bagged grocerys and stocked shelve, or cashiered!
