In the free parking lots aroung the Centennial building and Harkins, there are signs warning that these lots are for Lower Bricktown only. At least one sign threatens the use of towing or parking boots for violators. My question is this: How do they know if the driver of a certain car is only patronizing Lower Bricktown? Surely they don't have someone sitting in a tower watching where people go when they get out of their cars, do they? (Yes, and don't call me Shirley.)

Its not really enforced, as far as I'm aware. As you say, how could they know what the owner of a car is patronizing without stalking them?

I routinely use their free parking and avoid giving those chain businesses a dime. For Thunder games, I almost always parked at the Bass Pro. Everyone does it.

Outside of having a gate to check for receipts or people parking over night it would be rather difficult to track.
