The big day is almost here for Patrick and Megan. Most of you know that Patrick is one of the moderators on okctalk, and Saturday, May 14, he will be united in marriage to Megan, his fiance'. I know that he has waited for years for this day to come, and he and Megan have planned long and hard for this wedding.

Patrick has been an excellent friend of mine for many years, and it is going to be an honor to be able to witness the exchanging of vows between two good Christian people. I also get the priviledge of being a part of the wedding, as an usher. He could have picked anyone else, yet he picked me, and I am happy he did.

I would like to wish them both a very happy life together, and pray that God will continue to be the center of their marriage, and that he will eventually bless them with some wonderful, healthy, children.

Since they will be getting married this Saturday, and going on a honeymoon, they will be away from everybody for a couple of weeks. That means that Patrick will not be back on okctalk until around May 23rd, or at least he better not be.LOL

Aproximatly seven years ago, I met a young man who would become a very good and valuble friend. He helped in a lot of ways both in my political life and personal life. And it is a tru honor to know him.

Tomorrow, I will witness his marriage, which is among the greatest honors I can be given.

I wish Patrick and Megan a lifetime of happiness in their life as husband and wife. Plus, I hope to soon hear about Patrick, Jr. or Megan, jr's arrival.
