I nominate half of Lower Bricktown, Harkins, Earl's building, Sonic walk-in building, hotel and Bass Pro.

Perhaps The Sacred OKC Architecture involved in Stage Center could be properly reassembled on this property?

Although I, personally, would hate to see The Artist's' vision cheapened or challenged.
(specifically, that of the famous totem pole/fiddlemakin' guy, c. 1949?)

Foyil: Worth The Detour. Still on Route 66! Sort of. New! Improved!!: Stage Center Water Park!!!

Now . . . Can we move along to The Historical Fact that the windows on The Rock Island Plow/Implement Company were made of wood? And are replaceable at a reasonable cost. When someone in Florida complains about "expedient engineering" and the deficits thereof, aesthically, vis-a-vis, patches . . . (kerry) =)

The best part is that the Totem Pole was constructed of hand mixed concrete.
So Stage Center would sort of fit . . .
With water slide/tunnels . . .=)

Tried to doctor up everyone's favorite ugliest building downtown. The Hive is still an eyesore...

That is far from the ugliest building in OKC. Just that monstrosity on top of it.

And the west addition (annex?).

The way it should look.

Maybe one day in the near future after "arriving" as a "big league city", it will be returned to what it once looked like. Perhaps also our most iconic building will be back in our hands where it belongs.

Tiffany House Apartments - Looks like something out of Sarajevo in 1992

2706
In the late 70's and early 80's the Tiffany was home to the best
Jazz room in Oklahoma. My friend Norma Jean Bachmeyer owned it.
While Bianca's house band was quite popular, the house band at Hoagy's
Roadhouse surpassed it.

Barney Kessel was a frequent guest and performer. I played there
3 or 4 nights a week.
