View Full Version : Magic Johnson just said...
Oklahoma City has the best crowd in the NBA.
Also said he thought Durant was the league MVP.
Another dominant win against the Bulls... The great PR from this team is immeasurable.
Yeah, I heard that as well. He always has kind words for OKC and the Thunder.

All of them had kind words to say about us and they didnt insult our city.. Thats a first lol.
MikeOKC 04-01-2012, 04:24 PM I missed the whole thing. Sounds like Magic is a believer. Wait....who couldn't be now? I love Magic Johnson though. One of the greats!

I don't think it's a first, but if that chip suits you...
BlackmoreRulz 04-01-2012, 05:55 PM As much as I like KD, I'm beginning to think that Russel Westbrook may be the best player on the team.
ShowMeOKC 04-01-2012, 07:02 PM Was this on TV? If so, what network? I'd love to find a clip on Youtube.
Spartan 04-01-2012, 07:07 PM The thing with Russ is just making sure he feels as much love as he should be getting.
^ It was on ABC I believe, in between their broadcast of Thunder/Bulls and Heat/Celts.

Probably ABC/ESPN, this may not be the same segment they are referring to earlier but similar response: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7762080
SoonerBoy18 04-01-2012, 07:28 PM I wonder what Charles Barkley has to say about us now
MonkeesFan 04-01-2012, 08:21 PM They just dominated because Derrick was not playing, if Derrick was playing, the game would have been close

I dont think so, they were 11-5 without Rose, Even with Rose they score about 80 points a game, That doesnt sound like the best team in the leage and thats why Thunder exposed them.

I wouldn't go that far. He may have been the best player over the last week though.

And?
(not that I don't agree)
MonkeesFan 04-02-2012, 03:41 AM And?

And the Bulls might have won
Bellaboo 04-02-2012, 07:57 AM And the Bulls might have won
Not a chance............Bulls shot 33%..........were obliterated by defense. Westbrook and Durant did not play 4th qtr.

they average 97 ppg ...
betts 04-02-2012, 08:47 AM What can be said is that without Rose the Bulls have a winning record and have beaten teams such as Miami and Orlando. They also have the leagues best away record. Therefore, one might have expected a better performance from them yesterday. However, without Rose, we have a better starting player at virtually every position than the Bulls. Kyle Korver was hot yesterday, but he was basically shooting in a vacuum.
I saw the Bulls play the Pustons in Chicago in January with Rose, and at that time I predicted we would beat them because they don't match up well with us, withthe exception of the point guard position.
Just the facts 04-02-2012, 10:12 AM The Bulls play in the East, the 5th best team in the West would be the best team in the East.

that is not close to the truth
Bellaboo 04-02-2012, 11:49 AM No Thunder starter played in the 4th qtr yesterday. ESPN Chicago stated even with Rose they would have lost yesterday.
kevinpate 04-02-2012, 08:32 PM Thought y'all might appreciate this shout-out on fb by my son, who has been Alabama based since summer of 2007:
what do I love most about the Thunder? The fact that its a b-team washout and the arena is still full!
SoonerBoy18 04-03-2012, 03:29 AM they average 97 ppg ...
I know I was being sarcastic
