I don't know how many here are familiar with Martha but this is a great loss for the OKC theater community.

Very true. I'll bet many who grew up in OKC in the 60s do not recognize the name but certainly would recognize the voice and face...especially the voice.

When I was a boy, she would visit my grade school and teach us little kids little skits. She was a great lady and a gifted performer. I went to school with her son, Bobby. He's 'Robert Knott' in TV and movies. He's been in Criminal Minds, ER, JAG, and was in Pollock with Ed Harris (one of Bobby's closest friends). Martha helped Ed Harris get his start by casting him in many plays at the Jewel Box. Martha lived quite a full life and was a kind and lovely lady. RIP, Martha - you will be missed. Thinking of Bobby and the family and wish them the best.
