Shot these a while back for a fundraiser.

EDIT: I'll share these later.

I had seen a rendering somewhere but now can't locate it... I believe the plan is to replace temporary buildings with a 52,000 square foot addition.

I'm glad to see that Emerson is finally getting the support they need.

Wasn't a national news reporter recently visiting Emerson?

Did some national news story ever come out?

this is on the Downtown design review agenda for this month

construct a one-story addition and three-story elevator enclosure; remove existing portable buildings; install new asphalt surface parking lot with drop-off lane at SW corner of site; replace existing parking lot at SE corner with new asphalt surface parking; install landscaping around and within both parking lots and provide irrigation; install dumpster enclosure and landscape screening; remove existing chain link fencing; install 4' high brick fencing around daycare playground; install basketball court and goal in northwest corner of site; install10' high coated chain link fencing surrounding the basketball court and extending to the northwest corner of the new addition; install shade structure at children's playground; install interior sidewalks and landscaping; and provide a recommendation to the Board of Adjustment for a variance to the fencing regulations.

Is the addition 52,000 sf or 5,200 sf? The latter makes more sense...

That looks completely different then when I looked again realized the newest rendering is from the back side

I love the tiling. Surprisingly ornate for a Small Group project.

Yep, all the temporary buildings have finally been removed, which already looks 10x better. The only thing I don't like about the renovations is the parking out front of the school on the east side facing Walker.

Trailers are gone for good?

All except the big one in front of the school. The ones in back have been gone for awhile now.

That looks much better. I hope they frame the building with some trees.
