I would like to know as well.... since it's my way to and from work everyday. lol. The posted sign just says road work starting 2/6... But, I did notice yesterday that BOTH sides have all the underground lines marked and flagged so it made me think it's a widening project.... while it's needed, that'll be a mess for a while.

Yeah they are adding a turn lane from Family Video down to the transmission shops, putting stop lights at the intersection of Imhoff and Classen and straightening the curve at that intersection as well.

They need to get going on this! Yet another awful rear end accident on Classen on 2/10. Unfortunately, an all-too-often occurrence and too many injuries on a regular basis.

This is good news. Ive come close several times to being rear ended trying to turn east on Imhoff. Ive made a point of flashing my brakelights to try and slow down the peeps trying to escape Norman.

Turn lane and signal lights at Imhoff, long overdue.

This was supposed to happen a year ago to coincide with the Hitachi expansion. This area has been a nightmare to deal with since then. I wish that they would put a traffic light on the other end of Imhoff also.

I don't really see the need for another traffic light right before Hwy 9 on 24th. That intersection is rarely packed. Granted that could change if there was actually some new development at that area finally.

The signs state that construction started 2/6 but I haven't seen them doing anything yet. Any word on when this project is set for completion?
