I'm just glad to see Katherine McPhee get the stardom she deserves, after taking second in American Idol a few years back. David Foster took her under his wing for a while and that helped her, but now it finally looks like everyone is recognizing that she's a triple-threat star.

SQ, you're right. I watched all of that first episode and it was really quite good with high production values and good performances. I've alway been a fan of Debra Messing and Angelica Houston who are the two "name" stars of the show. Not that it's bad, but I think this show probably came about from someone sitting around thinking "Why don't we do an adult version of Glee?".
