I hate when new business goes in around here they never put up a sign to tell people what is coming in. There is a new building being built On Hefner Rd. just west of Rockwell. Does anyone know what it will be?

It's a 4900 square foot retail building but I don't know about the tenant(s).

Owned by the Hefner/Rock group that owns the retail building immediately to the west.

As Pete told me in an earlier thread in which I asked the same question, it's Phase II of that shopping center called Hef - Rock Plaza ;-)

Might just be a spec retail building that they hope to lease when complete, like the one to the west.

My wife just asked me about this yesterday since we view drive by it often. It's been under construction for months. The design does not appear to lend itself to spec retail since it has a corner design entrance with some design to it. The elevation facing Hefner has some square windows located up high as I recall. They are putting up red brick now, but it's a slow go. It has the appearance of like a doctor's office or dental clinic, although there are a couple of those already in the vacinity. I could be wrong, but I think's a single tenant building.

Yes, it has a weird shape too -- more square than rectangular.

Could very well be for some sort of doctor/service provider.

Work nearby and I believe our security guard spoke with some construction guys early on who said it will be a Subway

I was wrong, I just got confirmation from a trusted source after inquiring, it is a retail center with a Subway going in on the corner as Easy 180 stated. There are 2 other bays which I believe are still unleased. The corner design element is so dominant, I did not even notice the other bays with from casually driving by.

I live very near there. For much of the construction it did look like a single tenant building. Only when they started laying brick did it become obvious it was a multi-tenant building. For that small a building it's taken a long time to put up.

its going to be a three tenant building with the furthest west tentant having a drive through
