This is a standard lunchtime destination for the guys in my office. Since Christmas we have stopped by a few times at lunch and each time they have had the doors locked and lights off. Yesterday we went and the memorabilia was off the walls. Has anyone heard anything about this place closing? It's at the NE corner of NW 39th and Portland in the strip mall behind the AAA office.

This is a writeup in case you aren't familiar:

Thanks for the help.

Doors locked, lights off, walls stripped bare. If it isn't closed, it oughta be. Still, if there is time to strip the walls bare, it seems there would be time to hang a simple sign stating the closure.

FWIW, while it's a few miles away from there, I was at Bubba's at 715 NW23rd about a month ago. DANGED GOOD FOOD!
Reviews at urbanspoon don't do it justice in my mind.

That's a few blocks from my house, I keep meaning to go but haven't remembered it at the right times. Thanks for the heads up and I'll make a point of it soon.

I spoke with the owner yesterday and confirmed that they have closed indeed. Sad news for me as this was one of my personal favorites and very close to my office.

That is what I feared, to bad, that was a weekly stop for us, really liked their lunch special. Have you been to Bubbas yet "EatAround"?

One of our writers has been and is planning a review. We posted the following photo from her visit on Facebook. This was back right after it opened - http://on.fb.me/zhLOWy

I haven't been personally yet but look forward to checking it out.

Here's some thoughts from myself and others who have been to Bubba's since it opened on NW 23rd.
