View Full Version : New 30 Story Tower In Downtown Tulsa! G.Walker 01-11-2012, 08:39 AM http://www.newson6.com/story/16458731/news-on-6-milestone-towers-over-downtown-tulsa lol MDot 01-11-2012, 09:19 AM Haha, this isn't fair. Thunder 01-11-2012, 10:56 AM Its so beautiful. I bet Tulsans are so proud. It may not be 50+ floors like our Devon Tower, but at least its something. Congrats to them on having it taller than our Skydance bridge (ours got LED lighting). ljbab728 01-11-2012, 10:18 PM After the recent controversy about a proposed communications tower here I doubt something of that size would be approved in or near downtown OKC. OKCisOK4me 01-11-2012, 10:19 PM I was sad when I first clicked on this thread but its funny now... skanaly 01-13-2012, 10:22 PM But its not an actual building is it?? OKCisOK4me 01-14-2012, 11:43 AM But its not an actual building is it?? It's a joke... as in, a new tower, but an antenna tower... haha BG918 01-14-2012, 12:04 PM Necessary since Griffin/KOTV is moving to the north end of the Brady District. That opens up their current site in the Blue Dome (3rd & Elgin) for redevelopment. dankrutka 01-14-2012, 12:16 PM It's weird that people are happy when Tulsa fails... Oh wait, it's pathetic. Jesseda 01-14-2012, 04:29 PM whats even more sad is that something like this made the news :) ZYX2 01-14-2012, 05:46 PM Not really, it's that station's new studio. Of course they will write an article on it. Spartan 01-14-2012, 09:02 PM After the recent controversy about a proposed communications tower here I doubt something of that size would be approved in or near downtown OKC. What was that one proposal from Lance Cargill (I think? Or someone else in the state govt who was probably indicted) to build a high-rise oil derrick to "compliment" the OKC skyline? That's what this reminds me of. Thunder 01-14-2012, 09:12 PM OKC was suppose to build a skyscraper oil derrick by the river somewhere. I don't know when that will ever complete. There was renderings posted on here. And also at the top where people can go up for sightseeing. Spartan 01-14-2012, 09:13 PM Yeah, it almost seemed like the kind of thing you'd come up with.. ^ |
