If you read the "Info" page, they even have a second book coming out later this year. Lauren Nelson continues the impress the heck out of me at such a young age, and it looks like she's just barely getting started.

What the heck is that supposed to mean?

On the FB page, it says that Robin Marsh is a veteran news anchor. When did she retire?

Veteran means experienced, not retired. Though you can be both.

Lauren and Robin's book is already on the shelf at local Mardel stores. That's pretty impressive for a 25 year-old, having a book out and another one on the way if my memory serves me. When I was 25, I was just learning to tie my shoes without assistance, stuff like that. KWTV does manage to find itself some classy women.

Well, she was Miss America.

Well, she was Miss America.
Those skills have transferred beautifully to anchoring, too. It's just amazing that she continues to forge ahead with new goals and achievements, rather than resting "on her tiara". Impressive person. She shrugs off hate-mail like water off a duck's back, returns hostility with kindness. How often do you see that these days? Pure class.

Oklahoma has a history of classy Miss Americas. See Jane Jayroe, et al.

I actually went to high school with Robin Marsh (Eisenhower High - Lawton, OK, though I doubt she would remember me).
