An interesting story from The Oklahoman.

It mentions that Bellini's at The Waterford has changed hands and is now owned by the Buthions (owners of La Baguette). Does anyone know when the restaurant changed hands... I assume sometime in 2011 but was it recent? Just curious. I stopped going to Bellini's quite some time ago for numerous reasons but will have to check the place out again now.

The last time I was at Bellini's (Waterford) I was not impressed.
(However, the first time that I was at Bellini's old Edmond location I was overwhelmed with the excellence! =)

Mrs. Talker and I have let Bellini's coupons expire due to the horrendous food and service. And remember, I'm the guy who repeatedly overpays for lousy food at City Bites!

Yeah, same here. I may give it another try and see if the new ownership has managed to improve things. If I do I'll report my experience back here.

Didn't the former owner of Bellini's (both the Waterford and the Edmond locations) also have a restaurant in Northpark Mall where Rococco II is now located? I'm pretty sure the name started with a "T" (i can't believe i can't remember the name of the place.) We ate there a couple of times and it was EXCELLENT. (like Bellini's used to be).

Here's hoping that the new owners continue the tradition of fine dining they have established at La Baguette . . .

Tommy's Italian American Grill. It was very good. I never made it to the Waterford location but we enjoyed the Edmond Bellini's and Tommy's in Northpark Mall. I've run onto several people that didn't know Bellini's was in Edmond. For those of you that didn't, it was where Ted's Cafe Escondido is currently located.
