Long time retailer of Del City, the Dollar General store located in the shopping center on 15th and Sunnylane, has decided to pack up and move a mile down the street. Management at the store stated the reasoning for the move was due to the owner of the shopping center continuing to jack up the lease costs and no agreement could be made. Ultimately, the new location, just west of Pizza Inn, will continue to have the rare feature of being an exceptionally large space in additional to customers enjoying the new and clean building. Public restrooms access will be available free of charge. Dollar General's biggest competitor, Family Dollar, resides half a mile to the west among the wedding chapels.
