Frusciante come back!

Ha, no joke. When I heard the new single I thought, "Why is this so bad?" Then I found out they're proceeding without Frusciante and it all made sense.

That's my fault. :tiphat: I just entered my initials for my user name after poking around the site for a few days. I'd change it if it were possible.

To stay on topic, I saw the peppers here on their "By the Way" tour and their "Stadium Arcadium" tour. It was actually pretty hilarious during the latter show as the whole crowd hated Mickey Avalon, the opener. I think I might have been the only person not booing in the arena. I'm sure it'll be a good show...

great live band. you don't hear the studio mixes during the show - they love to jam songs out. they've always had good openers, too - the mickey avalon fiasco was a somewhat last-minute thing because that was a rescheduled show tacked on to the end of the tour and gnarls barkley, the original opener, couldn't make it. previous openers for okc shows have been foo fighters and snoop dogg. the opener for this new show is janelle monae, which seems to be a somewhat odd choice. and they announced a 3/13 show at tulsa's bok center.

monae opened for katy perry in tulsa. i enjoyed her set but suffered through perry.

46.25 and 78.50 including charges isn't too bad

Saw them on the BTW tour back in 2003 (was it really that long ago?). Great show, looking forward to this one.
