I haven't been able to find a building permit. roci28 11-01-2011, 02:23 PM I believe it was between Meridian and Ann Arbor MDot 11-01-2011, 02:28 PM Is it the old Blockbuster (maybe Hollywood Video?) that is torn down? foodiefan 11-01-2011, 03:53 PM Is it the old Blockbuster (maybe Hollywood Video?) that is torn down? The location is vacant land on the south side of 23rd Street, about a 1/4 mile east of Ann Arbor. oneforone 11-02-2011, 11:08 AM I am surprised Popeye's is expanding. The only locations I know of that are still open is Edmond and 122nd and Penn. The rest eventually closed. They were good at one time. I think they changed the recipe. It's not all that great these days. I don't even like KFC anymore. The last couple of times we went, the chicken just didn't taste that good. We tried grilled, crispy and original. All them taste lousy. We grabbed a $5 chicken from Walmart the other night and it was better then KFC's chicken. MDot 11-02-2011, 11:39 AM I am surprised Popeye's is expanding.
