Football weather...so much better than the 70s and 80s. OH! Also OU actually gets to play under the sun, instead of the lights. :-)

Big 12 Schedule Today

OU @ KSU - 2:30PM ESPN
Missouri @ TAMU - 11:00AM FX
Baylor @ OSU - 2:30PM ABC
KU @ Texas - 6:00PM LHN
ISU @ TTU - 6:00PM FSN

Should be some good games today.

I'm trying really hard not to pick Mizzou over TAMU but I really could see them winning.

Texas A&M lost this same game 30-9 last year. This is a payback game. Score at half was 28-17 over Mizzou...

That's better than OSU was doing against Mizzou at half and OSU ended up winning 45-24.

Mizzou is marching tough on A&M. Will take the lead if they sc....nevermind. Just Scored.

OU is mad. They're winning 14-0 with just over 7 minutes left in the first. Blake Bell ran for the first touchdown.

The Blake Bell fumbled and it has been all KSU since then. Looks like they are about to take the lead and OU starts to go flat. I just hope one year we can 1) stop the run and 2) have good kick off coverage.

I and Texas A&M didn't see that coming!

OU starting to pull away and play like they should. We'll see if it holds up.

OSU is blowing out Baylor which seems to have imploded from how well they were playing earlier this year.

Looks like OU and OSU are trying to see who can score the most. Wow - good games for both teams today.

I noticed that as well. Everytime OU scored and had the most points OSU would score almost at the exact same time to get back in front point wise. Lol

Looks like Tech fell asleep this week. ISU is messing them up right now. 24-7 at the half.

I had a feeling at halftime that OU would go on to win by 41 lol

^^Yea,pretty amazing Tech lost twice in a row at home then beats OU in Norman and now is getting blown up by ISU in Lubbock! Those two missed field goals might haunt the Sooners!

Did OU seriously make a 53 yard field goal?

Their was one hell of a strong wind behind it and it barely cleared the crossbar, on a normal day if it had been from 43 it would have been iffy.

So for the Top 25 victims have been #9 Mich St and #16 TAMU. So OU should jump up a bit based on KSU and MSU losing alone.

Stanford is a bit sluggish at USC (up 10-3 near the half). Wisconsin is trailing 7-3 at tOSU. Clemson is trailing 17-3 at GA Tech. TX Tech is getting slapped around of course. S Carolina is in a tight one up 7-3 against Tenn. Arizona St is rolling over Colorado.

OU could make its way up to #6 or #7 tomorrow.

Could see a lot of shifting in the polls based on what happens during the next half hour.

#6 Clemson - in danger. Down to GT 31-17 with 7 to go.
#12 Wisconsin in danger. Down to OSU 26-21 with 3 to go.
#4 Stanford in danger. Down to USC 27-24 with 8 to go.

Texas Tech fell. South Carolina won 14-3 over Tenn.

Lacking update on Stanford. I'm going to guess they lost.

So, that is 3 fallen teams above OU. At least, OU will go up to #6. Possibly to #5 the way OU played extremely well against a higher ranked team (look at LSU and Alabama jumping over OU for playing extremely well while OU kept winning).

OU shouldn't feel ashamed for losing one game. It happens. Look at all the ranked teams suddenly losing. Then we look at LSU vs Alabama...one of them will lose. So, all is good. I predict by the time OU terminate OSU (and make Gundy cry more to the media), should shoot up to #2.

Unfortunately, I think the BCS system count conference championship games (which it should not), so that is one frickin' game that BCS will count as "a loss" against OU.... It will really be nail-biting to see if OU will stay in place or fall due to lack of game.

Since it requires Stanford THREE OVERTIME to win the game, I'd say that was poor performance. It took OU the whole regular game WITHOUT OVERTIME to win it. Stanford should drop a place....like the morons did to OU dropping from 1 to 2 to 3...

Thunder, don't sound so sure of OU beating OSU. OSU holds their own fate as in after next week, if they beat Kansas State, then they will be #2 which obviously means if they win out they will play for a NC, so I doubt OU is gonna just walk into Stillwater and win against OSU easily if at all because OSU has more determination this year, they believe it's their year to prove they're the best team in Oklahoma and the country and they sure are doing a good job of stating their case. I know it's cause you hate OSU but when you're talkin football become a realist not a hater.

Winning on the road @ USC > than losing at home to an unranked team.

I don't eat, sleep and breathe football, but I do like some teams more than others. This is true when it comes to Sooners and the Cowboys here.

That being noted, any Sooner fan who even remotely thinks the Pokes are the underdawg for this year's Bedlam is in serious denial mode. I want the Sooners to win out this season, and I really hope they do, but I wouldn't put money on it this year.
