It resulted in the pedestrians going away. RadicalModerate 10-07-2011, 12:13 PM I LOVE IT!!!! While The Hindenburg Incident may have caused some reconsideration of the Airship Docks, I really like the two motor traffic levels (fast and slow). In fact, on many occasions in years past, driving south on Penn on my way home from Guthrie, I often wished there was a Super Overpass that would take the non-shopping motorist over the entire area--including the Turnpike--beginning at about 150th Street (33rd) and ending somewhere south of The Walmart Complex. Perhaps the multi-level concept could still be adapted for Texting/Non-Texting in traffic. I am particularly impressed at how the artist accurately prognosticated the shape of Cars of The Future. And the car parking turntable in the garage. If the Mesa Verde Cliff Dwellers had a vision like this, they would probably still be living there! |
