Did anyone watch this tonight on FX and have an opinion. I intended to and missed it. It sounded like an interesting and innovative concept for a new show and had some good advance buzz. (Not one of those reality (yuck) shows, anyway)

I did watch this show tonight and have mixed feelings about it. It seems like they try to pack too much drama and action into every scene without having much "down time". I think they should give some of the story lines a little more time to develop instead of getting into so much at once. There is some good acting. It's nice to see the great Jessica Lange back and she steals the scene whenever she's there. Frances Conroy who was acclaimed for her role in "Six Feet Under" as well as many Broadway plays has another great role as a maid.
Be aware that this is definitely NOT a G rated show.

It was different that's for sure and I agree it's not G rated, maybe not even PG but I'll be watching it again next week lol

Only one description for this show: Very messed up. I still don't understand the story behind the naughty maid and the mystery guy wearing the S&M Leather outfit.

i agree about them packing too much in... seemed like there was way too much going on and they didn't ease their way into any scene. kind of like they're thinking "this show may not last long, so let's tell all the story as fast as we can!" kinda creepy show, though...

I just got around to watching the pilot yesterday. It was interestingly weird (though not that scary), but I can't say I'm much of a fan. I guess I assumed it would be a different short story every episode, but it appears to be a series and I'm not really interested in following another series. Jessica Lange definitely gets the award for creepiest character though.
