Bill Robertson 09-08-2011, 10:47 AM I love our zoo. We've been Zoo Friends members for years and volunteer our time and money to support our zoo as much as we can. But Venture has a point. I haven't really been to many zoos outside of ours but we did go to the St Louis zoo last spring. It is amazing! Simply amazing! king183 09-10-2011, 05:06 PM Just went to the zoo today. It was awesome. Loved seeing the new elephant and the new chimps. The baby chimps were playing around non-stop, running around and swinging on the ropes. There were a couple gorillas wrestling with each other and play biting. They stopped for a second to rest and just stared at each other. Then, one of them playfully sucker punched the other and they started wrestling again. It was hilarious. There were thousands of people there. Great experience. I highly recommend everyone take their families to the zoo. You won't regret it. Double Edge 09-10-2011, 06:47 PM Just went to the zoo today. It was awesome. We worked on building the Oklahoma Trails but I never saw it after it was planted and occupied nor had I been though the other parts of the zoo for years. The place looks great and yes, it was packed but we got there when they opened and it wasn't really a problem. |
