The Big 12 has been this strong the last couple of years as well. If Nebraska hadn't left it would be 7 teams in the top 25. It is no wonder the other conferences want to cannibalize the Big 12. What is a wonder is that there is a big lack of conference pride within the conference.

The NCAA needs to implement a new rule that you must play all of your conference members in a 2 year cycle. After all if you want teams why wouldn't you want to play them on a regular basis.

It is where I went to school though. :-P

However, I enjoy Big 12 football more than other conferences. However, I do have a special place in my heart for the MAC and the schools in it. Being from an area with several MAC schools nearby, it always angered me when the locals paid them no attention but went nuts over Michigan or Ohio State.

I don't see why Oklahomans can't be both OU and OSU fans, except the day they play each other, then they gotta pick one over the other. And then I'll likely go for the underdog--OSU.

I agree with Bunty. I'm OU all around, but I also go for OkSt and even Tulsa just cause their all Oklahoma teams. But when OU plays either I go for OU.

Sorry, can't root for OU. Same reason I can't root for the Lakers, the Yankees, the Duke Blue Devils. The only time I will root for OU (that's a atta boy here or an atta boy there) is when they're playing the Donghorns, otherwise its "go other team"!

Bunty I am a RABID OU and OSU fan. I always root for the Cowboysand the Golden Hurricanes to win except with they play my alma mater, then I revert to the Sooner Nation to beat the crap out of the Cowboys and Tulsa. It is the only way it can be. If you are a fan of OK football and cannot root for all when they play others then you are NOT a true fan of OK football, pure and simple. IMHO
