I was under the assumption that we were discussing the tornado victims from the Guthrie tornado. Yes? I don't think it said anything about money going out of state, I think we have plenty of tornado victims right here at home.

I thought he was talking about the Joplin tornado.

Just because a couple of cities have nearby city limits doesn't mean they will become one city soon. If that were the case, I don't think any of our suburbs would exist now, they would all be called Oklahoma City.

When it comes to "One Big City" I have faith in the empirical evidence suggesting that there is a pragmatic, qualitative difference between "Union" and "Unity." (c/o Rick Godwin, Church Pastor, somewhere in the Urban Sprawl of Central Texas, c. 1988 but only the "union" vs. "unity" part. =)

I rue the day when The Oak Tree of North Edmond decides that the "Hooterville" watertower in Waterloo must come down for aesthetic reasons.

I find it more likely that it becomes (since it already sort of is) its own community. There are starting to be enough people out that way that there are more businesses. Less of a reason to go into either town I guess.

Uh no, Denton and Dennison are not one city now. They aren't even close to each other. If you meant Sherman and Dennison then they could be considered one city even though they wouldn't think so.

I'm not certain what city directional growth has to do with sociology. Seems to me it would have way more to do geography than anything else. Edmond has a very large area to the East of I-35 that is in city limits but is still not very highly populated. That isn't to say that there won't be growth to the North, but they wouldn't have city services. I know there has also been a lot of growth to the West and Northwest to Deer Creek, Cashion, and Crescent.

I don't either, but I had a weird professor.. I would love to see large amounts of Edmond students come out and support this Halloween event.. I would love to make it a yearly event for the month of Oct, Openingnight is Oct 7-8 are you brave enough to come out hipsterdoofus

We have decided to make the haunt go outside then back inside the building. Love the inside,outside, and back inside effect. Live streaming web cam is in the works, what great entertainment this will be

I don't go to Edmond much at all, but over the years, there and elsewhere, it seems convenience store folk are fairly accommodating to accepting fliers and such. You might consider looking into versions that are smaller than 8.5x11 if you are not already planning to do so.

We had a great crowd Sat night over 200 in a downpour.. We had groups go through 2-3 times..Our script changes everytime because we use drama college students and they just go crazy!!!!
