I live in El Reno, Oklahoma, and I am going to be moving to Oklahoma City in a few months and I was wondering are there any resturants in OKC that has the BEST Mac and Cheese lol. If your familier with El Reno, then you know "Tooters" has the BEST EVER lol.

I can't get it here.... Bahamian Macaroni and Cheese at The cafeteria on the Naval base I was stationed on in the Bahamas back in 1998. Best stuff in the world. They made it every Tuesday. Tuesdays where also steak nights. All the New York Strip you could eat.

Locally... Panera's is pretty good.

Absolutely after the last "discussion" on the topic. It is way too subjective. What one person loves, another hates. It is what it is. I will say this, I found the deep fried mac & cheese served at a particular place to be quite tasty and reasonably priced considering the rest of the meal. Not any of the places mentioned previously or in this thread, so I am safe...for now...maybe

And after reading the first post, he seems to be asking for places that are comparable to El Reno's "Tooters", so unless anyone here has posted has eaten theirs, it would be hard to say.

Lotsa Noodles has a Mac and cheese dish that's good. It's a little pricey, especially if you add beef (which I recommend), but that hasn't stopped me from going back.

I do love Iron Starr's fancy mac, but when I really want mac and cheese, I make it here at home, from scratch. A specialty is the BLT mac--Bacon, leeks and tomatoes. Yum.

Zio's has amazing mac and cheese. I always order it for the grandkids, and then eat what they don't finish. I have actually ordered it for myself.

I haven't had Louies' Mac and Cheese since last winter. It IS pretty good... if its freezing outside. But Iron Starr and Red Prime... they have good stuff year round.
