We saw The Help in a packed movie theater Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma City. It was an amazing movie. It made me realize how far we have come. There might still be some prejudice in the world, but things are way better now than then. I loved the movie. The actors played their parts well. I can see some Oscar's for this movie. I was surprised to see that Nate Berkus was one of the producers. I would recommend this movie to everyone.I thought the movie was extremely well done. I'd give it 5 stars.

Saw it last night and everyone just sat in their seats when the movie ended. The movie really helps see how easy it is for humans to dehumanize those different than them. Unfortunately, we still stereotype the individual based on group characteristics too much - especially in Oklahoma. Gays, Mexicans, the poor (especially blacks) are often pre-judged and treated as less than human by many. Hopefully this movie helps people look inward and work against their own stereotypes...

Sounds like an emotional movie. I'll look forward to that on Netflix.
