In this RARE instance I will agree with Thunder. Apple has the nefarious habit of suing anyone and everyone who even breathes like they might compete or have a similiar product. Some of the suits are probably valid but come on. They did lose to Sir Paul McCartney once. Apple has had its losses but it hopes that the weight of there name will cause defendants to capitulate.
Eventually they and Google will go head to head. That will be interesting. Maybe the struggle will casue both to melt down to about half there current size/power/influence. Maybe not so bad a thing to happen.

What is really pathetic is that there are threads after threads (Sprint forums), all of them so long, filled with people crying, crying, crying about Sprint not having iPhone 5 yet and that they are crying, crying, crying about waiting so long. What is even more pathetic is that Sprint is willing to carry the iPhone line from Apple, because many of the phones that Sprint carries are being under attack by Apple. People keep praising about iPhone here and there, but the majority of them don't even keep it for long once they get their hands on them when they discover just how outdated and sucky iPhone line really are.
MustangGT, I think Apple is very afraid to go head-to-head with Google. Apple are indirectly attacking Google (intentionally) by going after numerous companies. I'm serious, I feel no pity for Steve Jobs since he have been allowing such acts and I'm very thankful that he will be gone. Good riddance! Its only time when Apple will fall, and trust me, the mighty does fall...hard!

Here is all you need to know about apple. They ripped off xerox on their user interface and mouse designs, and then sued microsoft because their user interface was similar to the macintosh.
Also, it is humorous when isheep pound their chests going on about apple's profits. They have so much money because they WAY overcharge for every product and you idiots brag about it. Classic.

I agree. Having a relative who is in the upper echelons of the company your statement about overcharging is very true. The plants that produce iPods are almost pure profit centers.

I hear about 'over charging' all the time with Apple - but what is 'over charging?' Isn't something worth whatever someone else is willing to pay? In Apple's case it seems like millions are willing to pay their price on a non-essential luxury item and are happy to pay to at that.
I agree that their markup is huge, but I'm also an Apple stock holder, so I'm cool with that.
