Borders--still open, closing sale in progress.

Barnes and Noble--no closing sale, not closing.

The Norman B&N does really well, even when Borders was a half mile away (it did well too and was one of the last ones standing in the region before the entire company shut all their stores). If anything B&N would possibly be interested in a second Norman location, likely either near campus or on the east side.

B&N would probably go well in the Hwy 9 / US 77 / SE 24th area whenever Walmart and Lowes decide to build (if they do). It would be a much closer/faster drive from campus and most apartments.
