I thought there was only one Barnes and Noble in Norman? :poke: Jesseda 08-02-2011, 02:49 PM ment to say . I know borders closed, but a co-worker said barnes and nobles is closing and having a sale right now Borders--still open, closing sale in progress. Barnes and Noble--no closing sale, not closing. BG918 08-02-2011, 07:50 PM The Norman B&N does really well, even when Borders was a half mile away (it did well too and was one of the last ones standing in the region before the entire company shut all their stores). If anything B&N would possibly be interested in a second Norman location, likely either near campus or on the east side. venture 08-04-2011, 11:49 AM B&N would probably go well in the Hwy 9 / US 77 / SE 24th area whenever Walmart and Lowes decide to build (if they do). It would be a much closer/faster drive from campus and most apartments. |
