I'm probably the minority here, but it bugs me when we have these outside seating areas that eat up so much of the sidewalk. 5' is probably plenty but with so much "build to the corner" stuff, you really limit the pedestrian space we talk so much about needing for "walkability".
It's only 5' at that one little area.

What we really need is to work on a law that allows sidewalk tables to be pushed to the street so that people can walk between the tables and the buildings.
Great shot from CloudDeck Media:

Just putting this here because it's in the same building but Planet Sub has closed...

That's too bad. I kinda sorta liked Planet Sub a little bit, on rare occasions.

That's too bad. I kinda sorta liked Planet Sub a little bit, on rare occasions.Same here — which is certainly not a sustainable business model, especially in downtown OKC.

Is it just me or does this place look like a cheap pile? They made a poor choice in how they handled the concrete low ceiling and it looks like crap (it is not "cool" exposed industrial). The gallery images show cheap pre-fab cabinets too.

I toured it a couple years ago and yes, how they handled the ceilings and cabinets is not ideal, but it's one of the more affordable places to live downtown. I would have moved there, but the lack of attached garage (at the time) was an issue. It's still hard to beat the Regency on cost, with attached parking and flat utilities.
