It kept my attention so well that I didn't realize I had missed the news. Boy old George Ellery Hale was a genius--single-minded and driven--a really accomplished man. Not sure they make guys like this anymore. And those mirrors were sure a hard thing to make...Corning did a fantastic job. I love Pyrex anything--always have...you can get it *really* clean... And never forget--these great things were done in the days when there was **NO** income tax. None. Zippo. Naught. |
