I know we've talked about it before, but couldn't find an official thread on just Sammy's. Anyhow as we know, the longtime favorite, Sammy's Pizza is returning to OKC in Bricktown.

I just drove by a few minutes ago and they now have their awning up, so it can't be too much longer. I've heard rumors of a July opening. Anyone know more?

Yeah, it is the same Sammy's. They have had two different spots at the State Fair for years. I have always liked their pizza and usually get a slice every year. I hope they sell pizza by the slice in Bricktown. I like Falcone's pizza ok, but do not think it is as good as some make it out to be.

I wish I could find some Okie Calzone down here instead of what they call calzone. We have been getting some from Pizza House at 23rd & Ann Arbor sometimes when we are back in town.

Sammy's awning is about as ugly as it gets. Just looks awful. Falcone's has let their property turn to crap. What's with these pizza places in Bricktown? Do they not care about the appreance of their properties?

Can someone who knows more about it start a new thread for Knuck's, which replaced Sammy's? I now it exists, but that's about it... gonna try it tonight though...

Correct. I think for the time being Sammy's will continue to exist only at Festival of the Arts and the State Fair. Maybe Pete could change the name of this thread to Knuck's Wheelhouse?
